It was back in 2001 when Gigi Goyette was paid $20,000 to not talk about her supposed affair with Arnold Schwarzenegger.

Now, since it was recently discovered that the “Kindergarten Cop” actor not only had an affair while married to Maria Shriver, but had a son as well, Gigi’s story is back in the news.


Talking with Extra, Miss Goyette dished about her encounter with the former Governor of California while also apologizing to Miss Shriver, saying, "I am very sorry for the mistakes I made in the past and for being intimate with your husband, and I would hope that you would forgive me for that."

In response, Schwarzenegger's attorney, Marty Singer, told People Magazine, "This woman recently sold at least four stories to the tabloids relating to my client."

The rep also added, "She's just a person who wants to make money selling stories. Her actions speak for themselves."

Goyette's lawyer, Gloria Allred, says the reason her client is coming forward now "is to set the record straight about the nature of her relationship with Arnold."

Arnold has confirmed that he fathered a baby with a member of his staff! TMZ has reported that Maria Shriver was “completely distraught” when she found out, but is now determined to move on with her life.
According to the Los Angeles Times, Maria Shriver left the couple’s Brentwood mansion after Arnold confirmed that he was the father of the baby who was born 10 years ago to a member of the couple’s household staff.


In a statement to the newspaper, Schwarzenegger said:

“After leaving the governor’s office I told my wife about this event, which occurred over a decade ago. I understand and deserve the feelings of anger and disappointment among my friends and family. There are no excuses and I take full responsibility for the hurt I have caused. I have apologized to Maria, my children and my family. I am truly sorry.” “I ask that the media respect my wife and children through this extremely difficult time,” the statement concluded.

He added:

“While I deserve your attention and criticism, my family does not. “
